The great thing about an open mic night is that everyone involved understands the courage factor, and applauds the bravery to perform as much as the performance itself. As I say to my vocal students, half-joking, 'no guts, no glory' but the truth is, we do it for ourselves. Here's to small victories! And epic ones: go Blue!
